Die Avifaunistische Kommission (AFK) ist eine Arbeitsgruppe von BirdLife Österreich. Ihre Aufgabe ist die Sammlung von Beobachtungen seltener Vogelarten in Österreich. Die Ergebnisse werden im zwei- bis dreijährigen Rhythmus in der Zeitschrift “Egretta” veröffentlicht.

The Avifaunistic Committee (AFK) is a working group of BirdLife Austria. It’s task is to collect, validate and process records of rare bird species and vagrants in Austria. Results are published in a two or three-years interval in the journal “Egretta“.
